Welcome, Oberlin
Why do I want to be on city council? The short answer is there hasn't been much of a voice for things I believe my city's government should do – things like modernizing computer systems and training staff to take advantage of new technologies, or reducing bureaucracy and clearing out ineffective laws and rules. I want to add to the discussion on how we do business in town, and push our government (for which we all pay taxes) to embrace the 21st century and give us quality services without wasted time, money, or effort.
This site is an effort to give you the voter a fuller picture of me the candidate. Learn a little more about me and my experiences in the bio section, or read a bit about how I approach issues of government and public policy. In the mood for specifics? I've gone below the surface on some issues and am always happy to discuss others. You can also join me and other Oberliners for some discussion on my campaign Facebook page, or find your preferred method of contacting me here.
Election day is November 8th; you have seven votes for city council, and I'd like to earn one of them.
Thank you,
Aaron/Mooch
